STUBAI GLACIER - KINGDOM OF SNOW!
Being the biggest glacier ski resort in Austria, the Stubai Glacier has a lot to offer to visitors. Natural snow, perfectly groomed slopes, skiing pleasure from October to June, and varied offers for winter sport athletes, make Stubai Glacier the kingdom of snow.
The new highlight from winter 16/17 is the 3S Eisgrat cable car facility with a total length of 4.7 kilometres. This is why it is “the longest 3S cable car in the Alps”.
Whether you're a carver, snowboarder, freerider, pleasure skier or on vacation with your family - in Austria’s biggest glacier ski resort at an altitude of more than 3,000 metres which features 35 slopes of all levels of difficulty, there's a right slope for everyone. Highlights are the Daunhill slope with a maximum inclination of 60% and the BIG Family Fun Slope adventure course. Kids and teens become ski experts in the BIG Family Children and Teens ski camp, while children aged 3 years and older are perfectly looked after in the Kindergarten at the Gamsgarten mountain station. Children under the age of 10 ski for free if they are accompanied by a paying parent.
The Powder Department Stubai Glacier with 12 freeride runs, route videos, checkpoints and avalanche rescue training facility is the first contact point for freeriders. Both freeride checkpoints at Eisgrat and Gamsgarten provide important information about the route overview, weather, snow and avalanche reports, and important safety information.
